The Apollo 8 Mission was not only the furthest humans have ever gone, but it was the first time humans went all the way to the moon! In a daring mission, NASA took the risk to make a Nine month mission and launch it in Four months to beat the Russians to the moon. This unique spacecraft was not configured to go this distance, but test systems in Earth orbit. This means it’s Control Panel layout is different from those that went to the moon afterwards.

This is the world’s only Interactive Poster which is easy enough for any space enthusiast that can answer any question a rocket scientist might ask. The images are of the control panels of the Apollo 8 Command Module. They are color coded to designate the specific system the light, button, or switch comes from for easy reference.
